Hardness Prediction in Quenched and Tempered Nodular Cast Iron Using the Hollomon-Jaffe Parameter

چکیده

The Hollomon-Jaffe parameter is usually used to stablish a equivalence between time and temperature in tempering treatment, but not predict the harness of alloy after treatment. In this paper last possibility has been studied. A group cast iron samples was annealed cooled at different rates order obtain with three hardness values. These were tempered using times temperatures. calculated for each case relationship based on logistic function that final stablished. This found depend initial lowest achievable.
